EMSL Products and Services

We like to design and build stuff, cook and eat stuff, and take pictures of our cats. This web site is about that kind of stuff.

We do have a web store where we sell some things, the Evil Mad Science Shop. We also occasionally design and/or make things on commission. (Contact form here.)

We are happy to now be able to say "yes." We are working in cooperation with the creative geniuses at Because We Can to make beautifully designed custom interactive furniture.

Two models of interactive LED coffee table are now directly available from the Because We Can Online Store, including the lower one shown here, which features 640 white LEDs.

If you are interested in having other beautifully designed things (with or without interactive electronics), please contact Because We Can.

Kits for the electronic portion of the tables are now available as well.

To accompany our open-source holiday electronics projects, we have made available a few electronic soldering kits, which include parts and printed instructions for the projects. (Most projects really are open source-- you don't need to buy anything in order to build the projects.)
