Just spent 45 minutes trying to get my axidraw to work, following firmware upgrade.
Problem was: When firmware is updated, the Axidraw Name is erased & reset to some generic name.
But the Inkscape Axidraw Control commands try to connect to the old named Axidraw. So “Axidraw Not Found” grrr…
Suggestion: add instruction to firmware update saying something like:
“Axidraw name has been erased and set to xyzzy. You may need to rename it”
That’s a good suggestion; thank you. And, I’m sorry for the frustration.
