    I’d like to be able to run the Larson Scanner in my vehicle as a
    security indicator when the alarm is on.  Can this be accomplished by
    changing the 9 16 Ohm resistors to a higher value?

    Potentially yes, but the Larson Scanner cannot take 12 V directly. You’ll need to reduce this to 5V or lower (e.g., with a voltage regulator) in order to be able to power the Larson Scanner.

    Yes I should have made it clearer.  I intend on using a circuit that has 5 volts, much like you would use to power a USB device.  I was thinking of using 150 Ohm resistors
