i can has no pcb!!
Dunno how funny this really is… we used a similar method in highschool electronics classes. A piece of cheap foamboard was covered with a paper printed layout, and brass nails were used as tiedown points. This saved the class from having to cut a wooden board and having to hammer all of the tacks in before prototyping.
