Well,

it turns out that this is the correct forum.
So I have an Eggbot Board from JJROBOTS VBersion 1
There is nothing installed so far.
If I plug in the USB port. the blue LED on the ESP is flashing one time.
I have found out that there is that EBBUpgraderGUI_v270 Software.
I cannot connect to the board.
Errormessage is saying:

Building a list of COM ports …
Found the following ports:

COM5
Testing port … no EBB found
Testing port COM5 … no EBB found
Click Exit (or click Start Upgrade again to update more EBBs)

There is no other program running which is occupying the USB port.
Do I need to equip the board with the driver Hardware first?

Sorry to be not precise.

After installing the newest incscape version, it ssems that the usb connection to the eggbot boat is not working.

I gett in inkscape the errormessage:

Failed to connect to EggBot. :(

My next step is to start the adruino ide, where I can connect to the board, as an Arudino ZERO – Native USB Port.

My assumption is now that the PC software is working.
I can see that the USB connection is working, because I get the Serial Nuimber of the board back at a connection test.

Next thing in line is the board itself.
As power is connected properly, I assume that the program on the board is missing.

OK,

have installed 1.02 of inkscape.
PC seems working.

But I get an errormessage, saying:

Failed to connect to EggBot. :(

On the Arduino IDE I get the connect to the board.
Maybe I need to load the eggbot sketch onto the board?
But I cannot find an INO file to load.
